Tramonti

Le Volte Antiche” Holiday House enjoys a strategic location in the heart of “Regional Park of the Lattari Mountains”, on the Amalfi Coast, world heritage U.N.E.S.C.O. World Heritage Centre.Tramonti is a pretty town composed of thirteen small hamlets. It represents for the Amalfi Coast an enormous green tank with its picturesque paths dipped in lush vegetation of secular chestnut, enormous wine yards from which is produced the excellent Controlled Denomination of Origin wine “Costa d’Amalfi” and the famous lemon trees from which is cultivated the Protected Geographical Indication “Sfusato” lemon of the Amalfi Coast used for the well known liqueur “Limoncello”. Old farm hamlet where it’s still possible meet flocks grazing, to be present at handmade local cheeses or baskets the old “cufanari” art. The hamlet is also famous for the pizza thanks to the culture of mozzarella, tomato and of homemade baked bread. You can practices several activities and the cultural traditions are articulated in a rich events calendar such as the summer and autumn festivals with the typical products of local cuisine, the suggestive Holy Week processions, the carnival events, musical events and more.
